Overview

The world’s only camp experience dedicated exclusively to transgender men.

WHY WE EXIST

Many of us trans men never had the opportunity to experience a boyhood summer camp. It’s our aim that you find that missing piece at Camp Lost Boys. Additionally, as far as we know, CLB is the only event exclusively focused on prioritizing the well-being and connection of men of trans experience.

We provide a retreat away from the stress and the struggles of your day-to-day life. We aim to focus on self-empowerment and self-esteem building through the physical and mental activities of a traditional summer camp experience.

Come climb ropes, swim, try archery, hike, go mountain biking, make arts and crafts, enjoy facilitated fireside chats, create friendships, and so much more!

We hope you let down your guard, get in touch with yourself and with nature, and build your community and brotherhood.

WHO

Our camp is for any guy who self-identifies as a man of trans experience and is over the age of 18. This camp is focused on building brotherhood and providing a respite for men who have walked a transgender path to their maleness.

This is a dedicated place where we can put to rest our stressors and celebrate our male identities in a safe, fun, and rugged outdoor setting. If this appeals to you, please join us!

WHERE

Camp moves location each time, as to provide easier access to guys from all over the country. We work with campground staff to ensure safety and discretion.

We do our best to partner with camp facilities that are no more than 2.5 hours away from at least one major airport. For more information about a specific location, be sure to check out the page for each event under “Join Us” in the navigation bar.

We facilitate a message board for ride-sharing and carpooling coordination. No one has ever been without a ride to camp!

LODGING

Slumber party vibes all around! Most guys will be sharing a cabin with somewhere between 10 and 14 others. Some locations have options for more private accommodations at a higher price point. These typically are limited in availability.

Please keep in mind these facilities are traditional kid’s summer camps and the accommodations are rugged, rustic, and with bunk beds.

Cabin groups are assigned with your comfort and happiness in mind. If you are in need of specific accessibility accommodations, please reach out to us and we will work to accommodate your needs.

Some camps provide linens for an additional fee, but we suggest you bring your own sleeping bag, towels, and pillow.

WHAT DOES THE COST INCLUDE?

  • Lodging for 4 days and 3 nights.

  • Three meals a day plus snacks and beverages (9 meals total plus snacks) - we work with the camp chef to design vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menus and options catered specifically for our group and to all food allergies.

  • Access to all campground activities.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

All-inclusive full admission for camp (dorm cabins) is $625 (plus a registration fee of $4.99 and a processing fee of 2.99%).  It is important to us as organizers of a community event that we keep the cost as low as possible.

Some camps have the options for a lower-cost platform tent bunk and a higher-cost private cabin or room.

If the cost is prohibitive, we encourage you to apply for our scholarship fund. Please keep in mind space is limited, and that the scholarship does not include transportation to and from the camp- you will need to get there on your own.
