Many of us trans guys never had the opportunity to experience a boyhood summer camp. It’s our aim that you find that missing piece at Camp Lost Boys. We provide a retreat away from the stress and the struggles of your day-to-day life. We aim to focus on self-empowerment and self-esteem building through the physical and mental activities of a traditional summer camp experience. Come climb ropes, zip line, try archery, hike mountains, go mountain biking, try the climbing wall, enjoy a pool party (day and night swims!), a river walk, fireside facilitated chats, music, friendship and so much more! We hope you let down your guard, and get in touch with yourself, nature and your community.

Our camp is for any guy who self-identifies as a man of trans experience and is over the age of 18. This camp is largely focused on physical activities and is a dedicated place where we can celebrate our male and/or masculine identities in a safe, fun, and rugged outdoor setting. If this appeals to you, please join us!

Nestled in the beautiful majestic mountains near Big Bear, about 2.5 hour drive from LAX and an hour drive from ONT airport. The campgrounds are surrounded by towering pine and cedar trees, along side the melodic sounds of the Santa Ana River, a breathtaking rustic historical landmark. The elevation sits at 5,800 feet. We will be offering shuttles for an additional cost and providing a message board for ride-sharing.

Slumber party vibes all around! You’ll be sharing your cabin with somewhere between 11 and 19 others. Cabin groups are assigned with your comfort and happiness in mind. If you're looking for less roommates and more room, we also have an option for lodging in a more private cabin for an additional cost. The private cabin is a complex that holds 1-4 people per room with suite bathrooms. The camp does not provide linens, so we suggest you bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

What does the cost include?

  • Lodging for 2 nights.
  • Three meals a day plus snacks and beverages -  we work with the camp chef to design vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menus and options catered specifically for our group and to accommodate food allergies.
  • Access to all activities offered.

How much does it cost?

Registration closed Sept 1st, but due to high demand, we have opened up 10 extra slots. If you are interested in attending camp be sure to snatch up a final slot today. Tuition is $280 all inclusive (lodging, meals and all activities.)
